Château Haut-Brion Premier Grand Cru Classé 2014
Description
Description
After Clarence Dillon bought Haut-Brion in 1935, he restored the château to its former glory and rejoined the elite circle of the most legendary wines in the world. This extraordinary and bold vision is now carried on by the fourth generation of the family. Located in the town of Pessac, a few kilometers from Bordeaux, Château Haut-Brion is one of the three Dillon family estates and the oldest in the region. The vineyards cover a total area of 46 hectares, the average age of the vines is 40 years. The special position of Château Haut-Brion is also reflected in the fact that it is the only one of the 61 châteaux classified in 1855 that is not in the Médoc.
