The 2017 Haut-Brion glides gracefully from the glass with aromas of black raspberries, kirsch, dark chocolate, star anise, candied violets, warm red and black currants and a hint of pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is bursting with layers of red and black fruit, superbly supported by firm, ripe, fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, with a very long and mineral finish.
