Château Clerc Milon Grand Cru Classé 2018
Description
Description
Convinced of the wine's potential, Baron Philippe de Rothschild believed that Château Clerc Milon deserved a place alongside his Châteaux Mouton-Rothschild and d'Armailhac. He acquired the winery in 1970 and began rebuilding it. Over the years, he bought back the distributed plots from their countless owners and switched to eco-friendly, integrated viticulture. Five grape varieties are grown on gravel and limestone terroirs, resulting in a wine with considerable aging potential; powerful, tannic, fruity and full-bodied, Château Clerc Milon shows the characteristic elegance of the best Pauillac wines.
