Château Clerc Milon Grand Cru Classe 2017
Description
Description
Convinced of the wine's potential, Baron Philippe de Rothschild believed that Château Clerc Milon deserved a place alongside his Châteaux Mouton Rothschild and d'Armailhac. He acquired the winery in 1970 and began rebuilding it. Over the years, he bought back the distributed plots from their countless owners and switched to eco-friendly, integrated viticulture. Five grape varieties are grown on gravel and limestone terroirs, resulting in a wine with considerable aging potential; powerful, tannic, fruity and full-bodied, Château Clerc Milon shows the characteristic elegance of the best Pauillac wines.
