Château Clerc Milon Grand Cru Classé 2014
Description
Description
Convinced of the wine's potential, Baron Philippe de Rothschild believed that Château Clerc Milon deserved a place alongside his Châteaux Mouton Rothschild and d'Armailhac. He acquired the winery in 1970 and began restoring it. Over the years, he bought back the scattered plots from their countless owners and switched to eco-friendly, integrated farming. Five varietals grow on gravel and limestone terroirs, resulting in a wine with significant aging potential; powerful, tannic, fruity and full-bodied, Château Clerc Milon shows the typical elegance of the best Pauillac wines.
