Description
Description
France / Bordeaux / Pauillac
Convinced of the wine's potential, Baron Philippe de Rothschild believed that Château Clerc Milon deserved a place alongside his Châteaux Mouton Rothschild and d'Armailhac. He acquired the estate in 1970 and began to restore it. Over the years, he bought back the scattered plots from their numerous owners and converted to environmentally friendly, integrated farming. Five grape varieties grow on gravel and limestone terroirs, producing a wine with remarkable aging potential; powerful, tannic, fruity, and full-bodied, Château Clerc Milon displays the typical elegance of the best Pauillac wines.
