Château Clerc Milon 2019
Description
Description
Convinced of the wine's potential, Baron Philippe de Rothschild believed that Château Clerc Milon deserved a place alongside his Châteaux Mouton-Rothschild and d'Armailhac. He acquired the estate in 1970 and began rebuilding it. Over the years, he bought back the scattered plots from their countless owners and transitioned to environmentally friendly, integrated viticulture. Five grape varieties are cultivated on gravel and limestone terroirs, producing a wine with considerable aging potential; powerful, tannic, fruity, and full-bodied, Château Clerc Milon displays the characteristic elegance of the best Pauillac wines.
