Description

France / Bordeaux / Saint-Émilion

The 18th century château is located directly on the border with Pomerol. As a first for the region, the red wine is made with a very high proportion of Cabernet Franc. This variety reaches a maturity like nowhere else in Bordeaux due to the iron-rich gravel and sand soil on clay. Château Cheval Blanc has been awarded the highest distinction of "Premier Grand Cru Classé A" in all classifications to date (some even give it a higher rating) and has the same reputation in Saint-Émilion as Château Mouton-Rothschild in the Médoc. The château's Grand Vin is considered an icon, a unique, unmistakable wine , coveted by wine lovers all over the world and therefore difficult to obtain.
