Château Cheval Blanc 2015
Description
Description
This 18th-century château is located directly on the border with Pomerol. Unique for the region, the red wine is produced with a very high proportion of Cabernet Franc. Due to the iron-rich gravel and sandy soil on clay, this varietal achieves a ripeness here like nowhere else in Bordeaux. Château Cheval Blanc has been classified with the highest distinction, "Premier Grand Cru Classé A," in all classifications to date (some even rank it higher) and holds the same reputation in Saint-Émilion as Château Mouton-Rothschild in the Médoc. The Château's Grand Vin is considered an icon, a unique, unmistakable wine, sought after by wine lovers worldwide and therefore difficult to obtain.
