In the Middle Ages, the estate belonged to the English king, but since 1453 the château has been back in French hands. Today, the winery benefits from the special soils, the ancient vines and the special microclimate. Château d'Yquim stands for uncompromising quality standards. A meticulous selection of the best grapes in the vineyard is followed by a rigorous selection of the best barrels in the cellar. A vine produces just enough must for a glass of wine. In addition to the 2015 vintage, Parker rated only the 1945 vintage and the 2009 vintage with 100 points.
