Description
France / Bordeaux / Saint-Émilion
Marcel Dassault, founder of the aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation, spontaneously bought Château Couperie in 1955. He gave his name to the château and did everything to make it a famous winery. The quality of the wines has improved from year to year. In 1969, Château Dassault achieved the status it deserved when it was named Grand Cru Classé. Over the years, the vineyard has grown to almost fifty hectares, making it one of the largest in Saint-Èmilion. It has been directed by Laurence Brun since 1995. The outstanding qualities of their Grand Cru Classé wines were confirmed again for ten more years in the last classification of 2012.
