Winklerberg Wanne Häusleboden GG Pinot Noir

The 2015 Ihringer Winklerberg Wanne Spätburguder GG Häusleboden has a wonderfully clear, elegant and floral-scented bouquet of perfectly ripe red and dark cherry and berry fruits. Beautiful purity. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, smooth, intense and juicy Pinot Noir with plenty of power, structured by fine but firm tannins. There is even finesse here. The finish is still a bit astringent, but the maturity and intensity is there to make this wine an exceptional wine in a few years. Tasting in Wiesbaden at the GG tasting, August 2017.
