Lisa Perrotti-Brown for Robert Parker
The 2016 La Mission Haut-Brion reveals subtle aromas of mandarin peel, fresh grapefruit and pineapple with hints of crushed stones, white peaches and coriander seeds. The palate is medium-bodied with a racy line of freshness cutting through the vibrant citrus and tropical layers, finishing with a lingering mineral note. Considering the challenges, this is a very impressive result!
