Der Grand Vin von Château Le Pin zählt zu den exklusivsten Weinen der Welt. Aufgrund der winzigen Produktion gelangen pro Jahr nur wenige tausend Flaschen auf den Markt, was den Kultstatus des Weins zusätzlich verstärkt.

Aromatisch zeigen die Weine intensive Noten von Schwarzkirschen, Pflaumen, Brombeeren und Veilchen, ergänzt durch Trüffel, Gewürze, dunkle Schokolade und feine mineralische Anklänge. Mit zunehmender Flaschenreife entwickeln sich Facetten von Leder, Unterholz und exotischen Gewürzen.

Charakteristisch ist die außergewöhnliche Textur. Trotz ihrer Konzentration wirken die Weine niemals schwer, sondern verbinden Fülle mit bemerkenswerter Eleganz und Präzision.

Château Le Pin gehört zu den exklusivsten Weingütern der Welt und gilt als das Urbild der Garagenweingüter. Das nur rund 2,7 Hektar große Weingut in Pomerol wurde von Jacques Thienpont aufgebaut und liegt in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft von Château Petrus und Vieux Château Certan.

Aus fast ausschließlich Merlot entstehen hier einige der begehrtesten Rotweine aus Pomerol überhaupt. Die winzige Produktion, das außergewöhnliche Terroir und die kompromisslose Handarbeit haben Le Pin zu einer der großen Ikonen der Region gemacht. Château Le Pin steht heute für exklusive Weine, außergewöhnliche Eleganz und die Überzeugung, dass ein großer Bordeaux nicht von Größe, sondern von Präzision und Leidenschaft lebt.
