Description

France / Bordeaux / Haut-Médoc

In the heart of the Médoc, between the two communities of Saint Estèphe and Pauillac, lies Château Cissac in the village of the same name. The château was acquired by Louis Vialard in 1940 and Marie Vialard has been running the winery, classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieure, for several years. The vineyards are equipped with fine gravel over lime and planted with the traditional grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Cabernet Sauvignon is ideally suited to the terroir in Cissac, where its power and flavors can reach their full potential. As a cuvée with the elegant Merlot and the spicy Petit Verdot, the Cabernet Sauvignon produces wines that are particularly complex and expressive. This Cru Bourgeois Supérieur is always a first-class price-pleasure tip!
