The 2018 Cissac has a medium to deep garnet-violet color and shows appealing aromas of blueberries, blackcurrants, dried rosemary and a hint of lavender and graphite. Medium-bodied on the palate, with a compact texture and juicy freshness, the 2018 Cissac is excellently balanced. The fruit aromas are complemented by earthy-spicy accents and it ends in a long, herbal finish.

Château Cissac is located between the two municipalities of Saint Estèphe and Pauillac in the village of the same name. The château is located in the Haut-Médoc region and is therefore classified as a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. The château was purchased by Louis Vialard in 1940, and Marie Vialard has been managing the estate for several years. The wines from Château Cissac stand for elegance, balance and drinking pleasure.

The Château is known, among other things, for its charming castle surrounded by extensive vineyards and forests. The winery is committed to preserving its natural environment and sustainable wine production by combining traditional cultivation methods with modern techniques and is considered a symbol of quality, craftsmanship and authenticity.

The vineyards are covered with fine gravel over limestone and planted with the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
