The Château is situated in the Haut-Médoc region and is thus classified as a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. The Château was acquired by Louis Vialard in 1940, and Marie Vialard has been managing the estate for several years. The vineyards are equipped with fine gravel over limestone and planted with the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. This Cru Bourgeois is located in the very north of the Haut-Médoc, in the immediate vicinity of the prominent Château Mouton-Rothschild, and is always a top-notch value-for-money recommendation!

Between the two communes of Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac, Château Cissac is located in the village of the same name.
