Robert M. Parker, Jr. for Robert Parker
The 2012 Cissac from the winemaker Vialard shows more fruit and density than in previous vintages. It is a cuvée of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot. Without the austerity that this vintage can have, this wine shows good minerality, a dense ruby/purple color, some cassis and surprising depth and maturity.
