Description
France / Bordeaux / Haut-Médoc
Between the two communities of Saint Estèphe and Pauillac lies Château Cissac in the village of the same name. The château is located in the Haut-Médoc region and is therefore classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. The château was acquired by Louis Vialard in 1940, and Marie Vialard has been managing the property for several years. The vineyards are equipped with fine gravel over lime and planted with the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This Cru Bourgeois is located in the very north of the Haut-Médoc in the immediate vicinity of the prominent Château Mouton-Rothschild and is always a first-class price-enjoyment tip!
