Château Cissac 2016

Between the two communes of Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac, Château Cissac is located in the village of the same name. The château lies in the Haut-Médoc region and is therefore classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. It was acquired by Louis Vialard in 1940, and for several years the estate has been managed by Marie Vialard. The wines of Château Cissac stand for elegance, balance and drinking pleasure.

The château is known, among other things, for its charming manor house, surrounded by extensive vineyards and woodland. The estate is committed to preserving its natural environment and to sustainable wine production, combining traditional cultivation methods with modern techniques. It is regarded as a symbol of quality, craftsmanship and authenticity.

The vineyards are planted on fine gravel over limestone with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This Cru Bourgeois is located in the far north of the Haut-Médoc, in the immediate neighbourhood of the prominent Château Mouton Rothschild, and is always a first-class value-for-money recommendation.
