Neal Martin for Robert Parker
The 2016 Cissac has an attractive, quite lively and vibrant bouquet with well-defined blackberry and blueberry fruit, commendable minerality and tension that develops in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, crisp freshness, with a concentrated and fairly long finish. This is an excellent contribution to the vintage from Château Cissac and has excellent value for money.
