The 2019 Brane-Cantenac comes exclusively from the deep gravel soils of the Brane Plateau. Aromas of wild berries, pencil shavings, violets, sweet clay soil and cardamom flow from the glass. It is medium to full-bodied, complex and concentrated, with lively freshness, ripe tannins and a wonderfully aromatic profile. With the elegance typical of the winery and an additional dimension of depth and intensity, it is the best Brane-Cantenac of the modern era and one of the great successes of the 2019 vintage.
