Description
Italy / Trentino
Ferrari Trento was founded in 1902. The founder, Guilio Ferrari, started making sparkling wines that resembled the quality of French champagne. Ferrari appointed Bruno Lunelli, a renowned winemaker from Trento, as his successor. Today, the members of the Lunelli family are the third generation to run the successful winery. The main reason for the success of Ferrari sparkling wines is the quality of the vineyards in the mountains of Trentino. This place, with its limestone and dolomite soils, is ideal for the production of complex sparkling wines. The warm afternoons followed by cool nights give the grapes grown here a lot of character that sets them apart from other plots .
