William Kelley for Robert Parker
Based on the 2014 vintage, supplemented by around 33% reserve wines from six other vintages, the new NV Brut Rosé 26ème Édition from Krug has aromas of tart red berries and plums, mixed with notes of warm biscuits, dried fruit, flowers and orange peel. Medium to full-bodied, taut and concise, with terrific concentration, racy acids and a long, penetrating finish, it is an intensely flavoured, electric wine that proves to be a particularly good new release from this historic house.
