The wines of Château Smith Haut Lafitte
The red Grand Vin of Château Smith Haut Lafitte ranks among the most important wines of Pessac-Léognan. It combines dark fruit with the graphite, tobacco, spice and fine smoky aromas typical of the appellation. Power and elegance remain in balanced proportion.
The white wines enjoy an equally outstanding reputation. They rank among Bordeaux's most sought-after dry white wines, combining the freshness of Sauvignon Blanc (90%) with the richness and complexity of Sémillon and Sauvignon Gris. Citrus fruit, white flowers, exotic fruit and fine minerality define their style.
Alongside the Grand Vins, “Le Petit Haut Lafitte” Rouge and Blanc serve as second wines, offering earlier access to the character of the estate.
