Upon opening, the 2021 Pinot Noir Day One is initially intense, layered and pure, with notes of gritty earth, pepper spice and black cherry, while later developing into a stronger and more vibrant aroma. The palate is compact and concentrated, with fine tannins, driving freshness and notes of orange peel, incense, crisp red berries and rose scent lingering on the finish. This wine will benefit from a few more years in the bottle and will drink well between 2025 and 2037.
