The vineyard location Terra de Promissio, "The Land of Promise", has an ideal terroir for Pinot Noir. The soil, south-west sun exposure, elevation, density of vines and wind and fog conditions of the Petaluma Gap allow the grapes to ripen slowly. It can then be harvested when the grapes have reached their optimal ripeness and quality.
