The Terra de Promissio vineyard, "The Land of Promise," has an ideal terroir for Pinot Noir. The soil, southwestern sun exposure, elevation, vine density, and the wind and fog conditions of the Petaluma Gap allow the grapes to ripen slowly. This means harvesting can take place when the grapes have reached their optimal ripeness and quality.
