The 2019 Pinot Noir Day One comes from Hillcrest Vineyard, one of the wineries on the west side of Charles Heintz, on the edge of the Green Valley AVA. It has a classic, almost Russian River-like nose of bright red and black fruits, forest floor, conifers and spiced oranges. This results in a medium-bodied Pinot Noir with wonderful purity of fruit, a pure, precise texture, well-integrated freshness and a great finish.
