Just 10 miles from the ocean, Hillcrest Vineyard sits on a rocky hilltop with optimal sun exposure and bathed in cooling mist almost every evening. In this way, the grapes retain their freshness and pleasant fruitiness and develop excellent aromas. The success story of the Senses winery began with this vineyard. This is where the three friends rolled up their sleeves, worked and harvested the entire vineyard by hand, and produced their first-ever vintage of Senses Pinot Noir. As a reminder of the early days, the wine is named Day One.
