Just 10 miles from the ocean, the Hillcrest vineyard is located on a rocky hill with optimal sunlight and is immersed in cooling mist almost every evening. This means that the grapes retain their freshness and pleasant fruitiness and develop excellent aromas. The success story of the Senses winery began with this vineyard. Here, the three friends rolled up their sleeves, cultivated and harvested the entire vineyard by hand and produced their very first vintage of Senses Pinot Noir. As a reminder of the early days, the wine is called Day One.
