Founded in 2011, Senses Winery is the realization of a dream shared by three childhood friends, Christopher Lloyd Strieter, Max Thieriot, and Myles Lawrence-Briggs, who began managing their families' vineyards at the young age of 22. In collaboration with renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, the Senses team produces outstanding single-vineyard and appellation wines. Senses Wines specializes in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley. Their vineyards are located at high altitudes and benefit from the cool climate in an otherwise warm region. The three friends produce world-class wines whose quality is often compared by wine critics and enthusiasts to great wines from Burgundy.
