Lisa Perrotti-Brown for Robert Parker
The Quintus 2017 has a deep garnet-purple color and exudes exuberant scents of blueberry compote, plum jam and fresh mulberries with notes of sandalwood, cinnamon powder, potpourri and forest floor as well as a hint of black tea. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, packed with expressive black and blue fruit layers, framed by wonderfully velvety tannins, and finishes long and complex.
