Description

The Brut Sous Bois is an exceptional Champagne, fully vinified in oak barrels, made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier (approx. 33% each). It matured for 6–7 years on its fine lees with a dosage of 7 g/l.

In the glass, it shines in a clear golden yellow with fine, persistent perlage. The nose unfolds complex aromas of dried fruits, citrus fruits, white fruits, butter, brioche, toffee, roasted nuts, and a slightly spicy, malty depth. On the palate, it is full-bodied, creamy, and elegant, with a dense structure, juicy freshness, notes of toasted bread, toffee, a creamy texture, and a long, mineral-salty finish.

Origin in Focus

Champagne

Champagne in north-eastern France is the home of the world’s most famous sparkling wine. The cool climate, limestone and chalk soils, and a long tradition of bottle fermentation shape its unmistakable style: tension, finesse and characteristic minerality. The main grape varieties are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier.
