Neal Martin for Robert Parker
The 2014 Domaine de Chevalier has a wonderful bouquet with aromas of blackberry, raspberry coulis and iodine that seem to envelop the senses. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with fine tannin, excellent freshness and a sense of symmetry that is unusual for the 2014 vintage. This is a refined, precise wine from Olivier Bernard that could be one of the top wines of the vintage.
