Château Trotte Vieille 2015

Château Trotte Vieille, Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion, is one of the oldest estates on the Right Bank. It lies on the limestone plateau above Saint-Émilion, where stony soils, cool winds and excellent drainage provide ideal conditions for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The wines are marked by mineral tension, fine tannin structure, red and dark fruit and remarkable elegance. In recent years the estate has been extensively modernised, including a new underground gravity-flow cellar, further increasing precision and finesse. Trotte Vieille today stands for radiant, long-lived wines that express Saint-Émilion’s limestone terroir in a particularly pure form.
