The 2018 Trotte Vieille has a deep garnet-purple color and has seductive aromas of kirsch, baked plums and wild blueberries, as well as red roses, dark chocolate, tapenade and fertile clay. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, with ripe, round tannins and a beautiful freshness that supports the juicy red and black fruits, and finishes long and clean.
