The 2015 Troplong Mondot is a deep garnet-purple colour and smells of warm plums, blackberry tart and blueberry cake with hints of undergrowth, bay leaves, cedar and lavender, and a hint of baking spices. On the palate it is full-bodied, with a solid core of black and blue fruit layers, supported by firm, grainy tannins and with plenty of spicy layers on the finish. This full-throttle beauty is the ultimate hedonist's delight!
