The winery is located on the left bank of the Gironde, in the renowned Pauillac appellation in the Médoc. Since 2012, the winery has been managed by the oenologist Nicolas Glumineau. First of all, he dealt with the vineyard soils, which surprisingly had never been done in this winery. Glumineau decided to replant individual plots and start biodynamics. Next he tasted vintages from 1970 to 2010 and realized that the wines that performed best were those with higher percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and going forward the wines and vineyards should reflect this. Success proves him right. Since the 2014 vintage, his wines have been inspiring and have been awarded top marks.
