France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Margaux

Château Palmer is one of the leading Grand Crus of the famous Margaux appellation. The two families Mähler-Besse and Sichel have contributed significantly to the winery's international reputation with exceptional vintages over decades. Both families have entrusted the management to Thomas Duroux. While tasting a 19th century Hermitage, Duroux decided to revive this tradition and produced the first vintage of the Historical XIXth Century Wine in 2004. Château Palmer began converting to sustainable viticulture in 2008 andimpressesdespite the considerable climatic challenges of recent yearswith wines at a world-class level.

The estate’s cuvée is carefully composed from the best parcels and grape varieties and reflects the region’s terroir with its mixture of gravel and clay soils.

In addition to its flagship wine, the estate also produces second wines such as ‘Alter Ego de Palmer’, which offer a more accessible option for earlier enjoyment. With a rich history and unwavering commitment to quality, Château Palmer is synonymous with excellent Bordeaux wine.
