The 2013 Historical XIXth Century Wine Lot 20.13 shines an intense garnet red in the glass. It shows impressively differentiated aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, raspberries with floral notes and a hint of graphite. On the palate it is very well structured, supported by ripe tannins and an elegant freshness. Wonderfully balanced, it ends in an almost youthful, mineral finish. A rare wine that combines the character of the great Margaux and Rhône wines into something great.
