Description
France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Margaux
Château Palmer is one of the leading Grand Crus of the famous Margaux appellation. The two families Mähler-Besse and Sichel have made a significant contribution to the international reputation of the winery over the decades with exceptional vintages. Both families have entrusted management to Thomas Duroux. While tasting a 19th-century Hermitagé, Duroux decided to revive this tradition and produced the first vintage of Historical XIXth Century Wine in 2004. This exceptional blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux and Syrah from the northern Côtes du Rhône is produced in very small quantities and impresses wine lovers and collectors alike.
