Alter Ego de Palmer Grand Cru Classé

The 2014 Alter Ego de Palmer has an opulent, brilliant bouquet with layers of small dark cherries . On the palate it is more restrained than the bouquet suggests: ripe tannins, a little edgy on entry but smooth on the finish. It feels very linear, in keeping with the style of the vintage, the finish is a little sweeter than its peers with a hint of liquorice in the aftertaste.
