Description

France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Margaux

Château Palmer is one of the leading Grand Crus of the famous Margaux appellation. The two families Mähler-Besse and Sichel have contributed significantly to the winery's international reputation with exceptional vintages over decades. Both families have entrusted the management to Thomas Duroux. While tasting a 19th century Hermitage, Duroux decided to revive this tradition and produced the first vintage of the Historical XIXth Century Wine in 2004. This exceptional blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux and Syrah from the northern Côtes du Rhône is produced in very small quantities and impresses wine lovers and collectors alike.
