Château Cheval Blanc Le Petit Cheval 2016
Description
Description
The 18th-century château is right on the border with Pomerol. As a novelty for the area, the red wine is pressed with a very high proportion of Cabernet Franc. Due to the iron-rich gravel and sandy soil on loam, this variety reaches a ripeness like nowhere else in Bordeaux. Château Cheval Blanc has so far been classified with the highest award "Premier Grand Cru Classé A" in all classifications and has the same reputation in Saint-Émilion as Château Mouton-Rothschild in the Médoc. With Le Petit Cheval Blanc, the winery has been producing a second wine since 1988, which wine lovers immediately won over. Characteristic are its precise fruit and wonderful balance.
