Lisa Perrotti-Brown for Robert Parker
The 2017 Château Beychevelle has a medium to deep garnet-violet color and a fragrant, floral nose with aromas of warm cassis, preserved plums and morello cherries, earth, and notes of herbs and cinnamon. On the palate it is medium-bodied and full of character with firm, fine-grained tannins and consistent freshness, and a long, mineral finish.
