Description
Description
France / Bordeaux / Saint-Émilion
The history of the prestigious Château Angélus is both one of the oldest and one of the youngest in Bordeaux. The origins of the de Boüard winemaking family date back to 1544, but the château as we know it today was not founded until 1909. Today, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal is the eighth generation to run the château. The committed winemaker feels committed to protecting the environment and species and works in the vineyard and cellar according to certified organic methods. The Carillon d'Angélus was first published in the 1987 vintage. Over the years it has acquired its very own identity. It reflects the high standards of the winemaker.
