Description
Description
France / Bordeaux / Saint-Émilion
The history of the prestigious Château Angélus is both one of the oldest and one of the youngest in Bordeaux. The origins of the de Boüard winemaking family date back to 1544, but the Château as we know it today was only established in 1909. Today, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal manages the Château in its eighth generation. The dedicated winemaker is committed to environmental and species protection and works in the vineyard and cellar using sustainable methods. The Carillon d'Angélus was first released in the 1987 vintage. Over the years, it has acquired its own distinct identity. It reflects the winemaker's high standards.
