The 2018 Le Carillon d'Angélus has a medium to deep garnet color and flows from the glass with aromas of baked plums, braised black cherries and raspberry pie, as well as hints of potpourri, Chinese spices, earth and tobacco leaves. The medium to full-bodied palate is generous and spicy, supported by soft tannins and just the right freshness for the enjoyable finish.
