Viña Almaviva Almaviva 2016
Description
Description
Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle decided in 1997 to create an extraordinary Franco-Chilean wine called Almaviva. And since then they have skilfully expressed this vision with every vintage of Almaviva. The grapes for Almaviva ripen on 63 hectares of exclusive Puente Alto terroir, in the upper part of the Maipo Valley. It is a unique wine made according to the concept of French châteaux. This wine is a classic Bordeaux blend where the main grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon, is accompanied by Carménère and Cabernet Franc.
