Description
Chile / Central Valley / Maipo Valley / Puente Alto
Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle decided in 1997 to create an exceptional French-Chilean wine called Almaviva. They skillfully express this vision with every vintage of Almaviva. The grapes for Almaviva ripen on 63 hectares of the exclusive Puente Alto terroir, in the upper part of the Maipo Valley. It is a unique wine, produced according to the concept of French châteaux. This wine is a classic Bordeaux cuvée, in which the main grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon is accompanied by Carménère and Cabernet Franc.
