Baron Philippe de Rothschild Viña Almaviva 2021
Description
Description
Chile / Central Valley / Maipo Valley / Puente Alto
In 1997, Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle decided to create an exceptional French-Chilean wine called Almaviva. Since then, with every vintage of Almaviva, they have skillfully expressed this vision. The grapes for Almaviva ripen on 63 hectares of the exclusive Puente Alto terroir, in the upper part of the Maipo Valley. It is a unique wine, produced according to the concept of French Châteaux. This wine is a classic Bordeaux cuvée, in which the main grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon, is accompanied by Carménère and Cabernet Franc.
