Description
Chile / Central Valley / Maipo Valley / Puente Alto
Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and Eduardo Guilisasti Tagle decided in 1997 to create an extraordinary Franco-Chilean wine called Almaviva. Since then, they have skilfully expressed this vision with each vintage of Almaviva. The grapes for Almaviva ripen on 63 hectares of exclusive Puente Alto terroir, in the upper part of the Maipo Valley. It is a unique wine made according to the concept of French châteaux. This wine is a classic Bordeaux cuvée where the main grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon is accompanied by Carménère and Cabernet Franc.
