Centgrafenberg Pinot Noir 2023
Description
Description
The traditional Rudolf Fürst winery in Bürgstadt (founded in 1638) has long established itself as a leading Burgundy producer – from Pinot Noir to Chardonnay. The grapes for the Astheimer Chardonnay grow on shell limestone in Astheim, a cool, chalky site right next to the Escherndorfer Lumpp. The vines were planted by the winery itself and originate from Burgundian clonal material.
The Grand Cru Centgrafenberg unfolds with cool elegance and fine minerality – a Pinot Noir of impressive precision. The wine presents itself as mineral, almost racy, with juicy berry fruit, morning dew etherealness, fine-grained tannins, and a menthol-fresh, energetic finish. A crystal-clear expression of Franconian Burgundy artistry.
