Description

The 2023 vintage in Tokaj was ripe, balanced, and mineral-driven. The "G" Görbe Furmint 2023 impressively reflects this style: delicate notes of white peach, lime zest, white blossoms, and flint characterize the bouquet. On the palate, it reveals itself to be clear and fresh – with salty minerality, powerful acidity, and a finely textured structure. A terroir-driven wine with precision and tension.

Origin in Focus

Burgenland

Burgenland in eastern Austria is a warm, sun-rich wine region with diverse soils around Lake Neusiedl. It is famous for elegant to powerful red wines from Blaufränkisch (spicy, structured), Zweigelt (fruity, juicy) and St. Laurent. Thanks to the humid mists around the lake, outstanding noble sweet wines are also produced. Among the whites, Chardonnay and Welschriesling are particularly convincing, some matured in oak.
