The Moric estate in Burgenland, Austria, stands for authentic, terroir-driven Blaufränkisch wines that enjoy international recognition. Burgenland in eastern Austria is a warm, sun-rich wine region with diverse soils around Lake Neusiedl. It is famous for elegant to powerful red wines from Blaufränkisch (spicy, structured), Zweigelt (fruity, juicy) and St. Laurent. Thanks to the humid mists around the lake, outstanding noble sweet wines are also produced. Among the whites, Chardonnay and Welschriesling are particularly convincing, some matured in oak.
