M. Chapoutier Ermitage L'Ermite Rouge 2019

The winery M. Chapoutier was awarded the most 100 Parker points worldwide. This vintage of the Hermitage L'Ermite was also awarded Rouge received the top mark from Robert Parker - for the seventh time since 1996. The grapes come from a small plot of vines over 100 years old, located near the small white chapel at the highest point of the Hermitage vineyard. Like all Michel Chapoutier vineyards, this vineyard is also cultivated biodynamically. Out of respect for nature, horse-drawn plows are used instead of heavy machinery to avoid compacting the soil. This is how origin-oriented single-vineyard wines are created, which are among the best in the Rhône and are allocated in a strictly limited manner.
