Ermitage L'Ermite Rouge

The 2019 Ermitage l'Ermite features sensationally deep notes of gravel, cassis and blueberries. A tremendous achievement and a worthy competitor to the wines of the last four vintages. It is full-bodied, rich and restrained, expansive yet structured - simply a complete wine, from the delicious aromas to the velvety mouthfeel and long, stony finish . While delicious now, I would expect it to close up shortly, but will still be going strong two decades from now. WOW!
