Description

Larmandier Bernier Rosé de Saignée Premier Cru Extra-Brut is made as a rosé de saignée from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Premier Cru sites around Vertus. The grapes undergo a short skin maceration, creating the intense colour and aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and a touch of blood orange. On the palate it is juicy and structured, with fine bubbles, delicate tannins and chalky, lightly saline minerality.

Larmandier-Bernier is one of the great names among grower Champagnes from the Côte des Blancs. The family estate has farmed old Chardonnay vineyards in Grand and Premier Cru villages such as Vertus, Cramant and Avize biodynamically for many years.
