Ferrari Trento

Ferrari Trento is the great classic among Italian sparkling wines and is regarded as a benchmark for Trentodoc from pure mountain terroir. Since the early 20th century, Metodo Classico sparkling wines have been produced in Trento, based on Chardonnay and Pinot Nero from high, cool vineyards in the Dolomites. The alpine climate, with warm days, very cool nights and limestone-rich soils, provides firm acidity, clarity and striking minerality.

Long lees ageing and careful handling of oak give the cuvées fine perlage, creamy texture and complex aromas of citrus, apple, white flowers, brioche and delicate spice. From fresh entry-level Trentodoc to vintage and Riserva qualities, Ferrari Trento stands for elegant, precise sparkling wines at Champagne level – ideal as an aperitif, with food or for special moments.

Origin in Focus

Trentino

Trentino in northern Italy is shaped by an alpine climate, steep slopes and cool nights – ideal conditions for fresh, aromatic wines. It is especially known for elegant sparkling wines made by the traditional method as well as crisp white wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Müller-Thurgau. Among the reds, Pinot Nero and Teroldego dominate: the former fine and fragrant, the latter dark, spicy and characterful. The combination of elevation, Dolomite rock and careful viticulture results in clear, precise wines with lively acidity and mountain character.
