Domaine de Baron'Arques is the result of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild's interest in emerging wine-growing regions and is located in the heart of the Languedoc vineyards, in Saint-Polycarpe near Limoux . Wine has been produced on the domaine since the 17th century. After several changes of ownership, the estate was acquired by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her children in 1998. After extensive recultivation of the vineyard and renovation of the wine cellars, wines of very high quality are produced here. The winery extends over 110 hectares, of which 43 hectares are planted with Bordeaux and Mediterranean grape varieties. The great variety of soils and microclimates gives the wines great complexity.
